Richard Moore (diplomat)

Sir Richard Peter Moore (born 9 May 1963) is a British civil servant and diplomat who served as Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) from 2020 to 2025. He previously served as Director General, Political at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from 2018 to 2020 and was the British ambassador to Turkey from 2014 to 2017.
