Patrick Surtain

Patrick Frank Surtain Sr. ( sər-TAN; born June 19, 1976) is an American football coach and former professional player who was a cornerback for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was most recently the defensive backs coach for Florida State University from 2023 to 2025. He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1998 NFL draft, and also played for the Kansas City Chiefs.
