Melanie Stansbury

Melanie Ann Stansbury (born January 31, 1979) is an American politician and former ecology instructor serving as the U . representative for New Mexico's 1st congressional district since 2021. The district includes the majority of Albuquerque and most of its suburbs. A Democrat, Stansbury previously served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 28th district from 2019 to 2021.
