Marin Čilić (Croatian pronunciation: [mâriːn tʃǐːlitɕ]; born 28 September 1988) is a Croatian professional tennis player. He was ranked world No. 3 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on 28 January 2018. Čilić has won 21 ATP Tour-level singles titles, including a major at the 2014 US Open. Alongside Goran Ivanišević and Iva Majoli, he is widely considered to be one of the greatest Croatian tennis players in history. Čilić is one of only five active players with 20 or more titles. He was also runner-up at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships and the 2018 Australian Open, and won a silver Olympic medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the men's doubles tournament partnering Ivan Dodig.
Čilić has reached the semifinal stage or better at all four majors, one of three active players to do so, and the quarterfinal stage or better at all nine Masters tournaments.
