This is a comprehensive list of all Article III and Article IV United States federal judges appointed by President Donald Trump, as well as a partial list of Article I federal judicial appointments, excluding appointments to the District of Columbia judiciary. As of November 5, 2025 the United States Senate has confirmed 253 Article III judges nominated by Trump: three associate justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 60 judges for the United States courts of appeals, 187 judges for the United States district courts, and three judges for the United States Court of International Trade. There are 12 nominations awaiting Senate action: none for the courts of appeals and 12 for the district courts. There are no vacancies on the U.S. courts of appeals, 46 vacancies on the U.S. district courts, and one vacancy on the U.S. Court of International Trade, as well as 5 announced vacancies that may occur before the end of Trump's term (one for the courts of appeals and four for the district courts). Trump has not made any recess appointments to the federal courts. In terms of Article I courts, Trump has made 26 appointments: 10 for the United States Court of Federal Claims, seven for the United States Tax Court, six for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, two for the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and one for the United States Court of Military Commission Review. There is one vacancy on the U.S. Tax Court. Trump designated Susan G. Braden, Margaret M. Sweeney, Eleni M. Roumel, and Matthew H. Solomson as chief judges of the Court of Federal Claims. On the Article IV territorial courts, Trump has made one appointment. There is one vacancy on the U.S. territorial courts.
