Jennifer Lopez is an American singer and actress. After gaining her first regular high-profile job as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color in 1991, she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her performance in the independent drama film My Family (1995), Lopez was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female.
