Edward Omane Boamah

Edward Kofi Omane Boamah (26 December 1975 - 6 August 2025) was a Ghanaian politician and physician who served as the minister of defence from 1 February 2025 until his death in a helicopter crash on 6 August 2025. A member of the National Democratic Congress, he was previously the Minister for Communications and spokesperson to the president of Ghana.
